This is my entry for the coloring contest hosted by Gundam Guy this year (but sadly, the Gundam Guy fellas seemed to have set this aside - no updates, no winners, nothing.) I remembered so well that I slept just before dawn just to finish the artwork. And even though the artwork itself is already a prize (as an artist, every artwork is a precious thing), it seemed like the efforts of the participants (hundreds of participants!) were wasted because the last update was June 20th 2014 and since then, the contest was sadly forgotten.

Nevertheless, I decided to upload my own artwork / entry on my blog to share (and as a remembrance). I've been delighted by the color scheme I made and if I get a chance, I might do this thing for real - in Gundam Exia Dark Matter or another gunpla of my choice.

Early this year (March 2014 to be specific), Gundam Guy launched a coloring contest on their website that was "supposed to end" by May 1st 2014.

There were three line arts of Gundam Build Fighters mobile suits - Build Strike Gundam Full Package, GM Sniper K9, and Gundam Dark Matter Exia - and the competition is to select who can create the best color scheme for the mentioned mobile suits.

There were two categories:
Group A - digital illustration (computer or graphic software can be used)
Group B - traditional illustration (colored pencils, markers, crayons and the like can be used)

There should have been Top 3 winners per group per mobile suit - which meant that there'd be 18 winners:
- six 1st placers (who will win One Gundam Build Fighter Master Grade Model Kit selected by winner)
- six 2nd placers (who will win Two High Grade Model Kits selected by GG INFINITE)
- six 3rd placers (who will win $20 Dollars GG INFINITE Coupon)

Aside from this, there was this "Gundam Guy Choice Award" for each category - who'll win a "mystery prize".
